Welcome back, or welcome for the first time to Audience Alliance Motion Picture Studios. For our online members who have been loyal contributors via the website over the last couple of years, thank you for your support. If you are new, please register so we can stay in touch with breaking news. We invite you to join with us to "Change the World of Motion Pictures for Good". To change the world of motion pictures seems like such a grand mission, what does it really mean? Over time, we hope it means a great deal of change because there is so much to be done. Did you know that seventy percent of moviegoers say that Hollywood is out of touch with their values?

Changing the world of motion pictures can mean simple things, like giving you a chance to have a say in the movie projects we undertake. It can mean giving you new insights to the filmmaking process as we take you around the world on location scouts and on the set and behind the scenes as cameras roll on our productions.

For us, changing the world of motion pictures means facilitating and producing inspiring films that are free of what we call 'ambushes': those moments of gratuitous violence, sex, nudity, promiscuity, and uncouth language that spoil many otherwise laudable films that leave many of us saying, 'if only'.

It means producing and promoting only those films that are consistent with our values and virtues commitments.

It also means — and this may be the most important thing that we do — we are committed to finding and nurturing the best and the brightest of the new generation of young filmmakers who are committed to the same values and virtues premises that we are ... and you are. Clearly this is not a quick fix solution, it is a program for generational change.

The upcoming movie Broken Hill is a kind of prototype for this generational change. It is an inspiring musical drama that many will enjoy immensely. It also serves as an example of our commitment to the audience — our members voted on and gave us their green light before we invested in the making of the film — and support for the rising generation of talented filmmakers.

This movie is set for a world premiere in Australia in August followed by theatrical release in the USA commencing Septermber 11, 2009, then a return to 'down under' cinemas early in the new year. Dates for other markets are still to be finalized but it will roll out progressively during the remainder of 2009 and throughout 2010. All of our Founders Circle Members will receive their own personal (free) DVD copy of Broken Hill when the DVD is released.

Development for Christmas Jars and A Train to Potevka is also ramping up. You can find out more about those projects on their home pages. We will bring you periodic updates on the status of other films that have been endorsed by our audience rating system as we reach significant milestones.

As a registered member you have the power to help us create those "feel-good-again-movies™" that entertain, enlighten and inspire while embracing traditional values. We are constantly experimenting with the most efficient and effective ways to make our engagement with the audience properly representative of the mainstream. That will remain a 'work-in-progress'. We are certain that the MPAA rating system does not fairly represent the majority view, and that broad based properly representative alternatives will eventually emerge. The Audience Alliance Foundation is fully engaged in that kind of research.

Audience Alliance was founded on our commitment to: Trust the Audience. Serve the Audience. That commitment is irrevocable.

Registration is free, so what are you waiting for? Join now! Stay tuned for periodic updates via the website and by email. Whether you have been with us for a long time, or you are new to Audience Alliance, be patient, stay engaged, the world of motion pictures is changing!
