Some Christian movies tend to be a little slow with a lower quality production when compared to most blockbuster films these days. However, they seem to blow blockbusters out of the water when it comes to promoting a message of kindness, hope and charity. Welcome to Paradise is a great film which should be added to a 'top films for families' list. This movie is by no means a kids movie and can teach us all a thing or two about overcoming trials through reliance on faith and being an honest and decent person.
Welcome to Paradise is an inspirational film about a preacher, Debbie Laramie (Crystal Bernard) and her son Hayden (Bobby Edner). They are sent from a "rich" big city church to the small town of Paradise, where Debbie finds a community in desperate need of direction and a town that turns its back on its neediest neighbors. She tries to build a new vision for her congregation that embraces everyone, even the poor and outcast, but the deep rooted veil of indifference may be too strong to lift.
